to get real about education…
Only about 50% of students actually graduate from high school. Of
those, only about one-third go to college.  College readiness programs are
great but we need to get real and also develop programs to prepare the majority of our students (who won’t attend college) for the real world.  Read more…

We must strengthen our system of checks and balances to prevent
waste, mismanagement and fraud to take our financial oversight to a

DISD needs leaders who have the courage to make decisions based
not on personalities, politics and personal agendas, but on what is
best for the children we are charged with educating and the taxpayers
