Getting Real

It’s time for DISD to get real…

Close your eyes and imagine this: A company.  A big company.  The 2nd largest of its kind in Texas and 12th largest in the United States, with over 200 branch offices, over 20,000 employees, serving  160,000 clients a year. A company that is governed by state and federal law and until 6 years ago had been under the supervision of a federal court judge.

That company is the Dallas Independent School District.  Their responsibility?
To educate kids for 13 years and prepare them for…
THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!
